Fornite controller aim assist receives its biggest nerf yet
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 kicked of 2 days ago with a blast, many new features, mechanics and map changes have drawn the attention of all the players only for another big adjustment to go mostly unnoticed.
Yes, you guessed it, Fortnite aim assist has been adjusted again. The first person to talk about this was famous leaker @FNBRHQ who pointed out that ADS strength as well as hip-fire were decreased by around 33%. A few PS4 and Xbox players said that they have noticed changes too but that cannot be confirmed since the game files are unaccesable on console.
A few major controller players in the community have noticed the scale of the changes too and although SMG tracking is still somewhat strong in close range, ARs are useless when it comes to shooting at range. The tweets below by Co1azo and Aydan show that this nerf might have been stronger than it should.
May be a little early to say this but.. I genuinely think controller is at a disadvantage for the first time in a while. Let me know what you guys think 🤔
